I rushed to Copley Square with a recorder at 10 p.m. after spending several hours as an analyst for WEBN on Election Day, Nov. 4, 2008. I arrived at the Fairmount Hotel, where hundreds of Massachusetts Democrats gathered, shortly before Sen. John McCain conceded to President Barack Obama.
